Our story
Julia Fisher Design is a boutique interior design studio specializing in residential interiors. From ground-up construction to thoughtful renovations, we offer a full range of design services tailored to each client’s needs. Based in Bakersfield, California, we proudly take on projects both locally and beyond, committed to seeing each one through from initial concept to final installation.
Our design philosophy blends timeless elegance with everyday livability. Rooted in classic principles, our work incorporates refined textures and curated details to create spaces that feel fresh, inviting, and enduring. We believe great design should reflect the client’s lifestyle while adding a layer of sophistication that feels both natural and inspiring.
Julie Fisher...owner & designer
After graduating from college with a degree in Business, Julie was called to follow her passion for design. She received an AAS Interior Design Degree at Parsons School of Design in New York City. She began her career in Newport Beach, California in 2001. In 2006 she married a 4th generation citrus farmer and relocated to Bakersfield, CA with her husband and Julia Fisher Design was born.​

Above all, she is a devoted wife and mother to four wonderful children who inspire her daily. She feels truly blessed that the Lord has given her the opportunity to serve incredible clients and be surrounded by His beauty in the work she does each day.
